‘The Dignity of Labouring with God’
On the 10th of May 2024, the inaugural joint zonal Holy Ghost Service was held at the RCCG Empowerment Centre, 625 Stassen Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49004, United States. It was a remarkable occasion for attendees who journeyed from far and near to witness and receive blessings from the divine.
The opening prayer was rendered under the guidance of Pastor Sayo Ogunremi, a revered figure in spiritual leadership, and the unprecedented Holy Ghost Service commenced promptly at 9 p.m. Pastor Ogunremi’s fervent opening prayers filled the air with the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit, leaving a profound spiritual impression on all present.
The Joint Choir
The joint choir, led by Sister Phoebe and Sister Grace from Mount Pleasant’s Living Word Assembly, further elevated the atmosphere. Their soul-stirring performance of a series of beautiful songs resonated deeply with the congregation, creating a spiritual connection that transcended words.1
A standout moment for many was Moyinoluwa Adeniji’s reading of the Holy Scriptures (1 Corinthians 11:23-27), whose exceptional enthusiasm captivated the audience before the commencement of Holy Communion, which was anchored by the host, Pastor Ademola.
